We're looking for a world-class UGC operator to build the largest network of aspiring creators in health and wellness — on-camera talent before they're famous — and run a system that produces 100+ pieces of usable content per month.
You'll own creator sourcing, briefing systems, content QA, and the repurposing pipeline that turns one UGC submission into 8–12 ad cuts.
About the Role
You'll own the UGC function at Superpower. This is a founding hire — you'll build it from zero: the creator network, briefing system, content library, and repurposing pipeline.
The goal is 10x scale in year one: 200+ creators recruited, a briefing system that produces consistently on-strategy content, and a repurposing pipeline where one submission becomes 8–12 ad cuts. UGC content runs as ads on our pages, not theirs.
This is a player-coach role. Everyone at Superpower is an IC, including leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Creator Network: Recruit 200+ paid UGC creators in year one — aspiring, hungry, on-camera magnetic; source from TikTok, Instagram, Backstage, Billo, casting calls, and ad responses; maintain diversity across age, gender, ethnicity, body type, and health journey
Briefing System: Tie every brief to a creative strategy hypothesis (hook, angle, persona, format); build the briefing playbook; eliminate the "just film yourself using the product" default
Content Library: Tag and organize all assets by persona × hook × format — strategy team finds anything in under 30 seconds
Repurposing Pipeline: Turn one UGC submission into 8–12 ad cuts; partner with the video editing team to build the cut-down system; make UGC the lowest cost-per-usable-asset format in the channel
Quality Bar: Set and maintain a high standard across every submission — on-script delivery, clean audio, proper lighting; coach creators to improve and manage the roster to keep quality high
Team Leadership: Build and hire the UGC team — UGC producer, sourcing coordinator, and contract ops — as scale demands
Qualifications
-
Experience:
4+ years in UGC, content production, or creator operations at a DTC brand running $500K+/year in UGC spend
Built a creator network from scratch — references will confirm
Designed a briefing system that produced consistent on-strategy output across 100+ creators
-
Skills:
Spot on-camera magnetism before a creator has 10K followers
Operations-first — redesigns the system before waiting for a hire
Reads paid social data well enough to know which UGC deserves a v2
-
Mindset:
Comfortable doing the foundational ops work because it unlocks the leverage
Bias toward shipping volume at quality, not polishing one piece
