Build Products That Move Commerce
Most APM programs have you shadowing meetings for six months. This isn't that. At Stord, we're building the operating system for the modern supply chain, a unified platform handling Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation, and Consumer
Experience for brands doing over $10B in commerce annually.
As an Associate Product Manager on our Commerce team, you'll work directly on the products that brands use to engage their customers, resolve post-purchase problems, and protect their revenue. The problems are real. The users are real. And the work you do will show up in production.
Where You'll Work
This role is based in our Atlanta office, located at our fulfillment center near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. We're in-person a minimum of 3 days per week not as a policy for its own sake, but because being close to operations makes you a better product thinker. You'll see firsthand how orders flow, where things break, and what customers actually experience. That context doesn't show up in a Figma file. It shows up when you walk the floor.
What You'll Own
You'll have the opportunity to work across Stord's portfolio of vertically integrated products that span everything from pre and post purchase consumer experience - think returns, order editing, and post purchase tracking - through to the platform that powers our fulfillment, warehouse operations, and transportation network. Placement will depend on where you're the best fit and where the team needs are strongest.
● Partner with engineering and design to define, scope, and ship features on a real product roadmap
● Write clear, well-reasoned PRDs that engineering teams can actually build from
● Talk to customers and translate what you hear into product decisions
● Dig into usage data and operational metrics to understand what's working and what isn't
● Own the details edge cases, error states, and launch readiness aren't someone else's problem
● Participate in sprint planning, prioritization, and cross-functional reviews as an active voice
● Support go-to-market coordination with sales, customer success, and operations as features launch
What We're Looking For:
You don't need prior PM experience. You do need to be someone who naturally thinks about how things work, why users struggle, and what could be better. Specifically:
● Strong written and verbal communication you can make a crisp argument and explain trade-offs clearly to different audiences
● Analytical instincts you're comfortable working with data, asking questions about it, and drawing reasonable conclusions
● Intellectual curiosity about how software products are built and how they create value
● Organized and detail-oriented you follow through, track the right things, and don't let things fall through the cracks
● Comfort with ambiguity you can make progress without a complete picture and know when to ask for help
● Collaborative by default you build trust with engineers, designers, and operators by being a good thought partner, not just a requirements writer
You'll stand out if you have:
● Any experience shipping something a class project, hackathon product, internship deliverable, or side project
● Exposure to B2B SaaS, logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain
● Familiarity with tools like Jira, Figma, Notion, or SQL even at a basic level
● Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs into a recommendation
What Success Looks Like
30 days: You understand Stord's product portfolio end-to-end from the consumer-facing touchpoints like returns, order editing, and post-purchase tracking, through to the warehouse, fulfillment, and transportation platform powering it all. You know which team you're placed on, who your users are, and you've contributed meaningfully to at least one active workstream. You're not waiting to be given a task ,you're finding them.
90 days: You're owning a feature from discovery through launch with light oversight. Your PRDs are clear and your stakeholders trust your process. You've brought at least one customer insight back to the team that changed how we thought about something.
6 months: You're a reliable, independent contributor. Engineers and designers want to work with you. You have informed opinions about the roadmap and the confidence to advocate for them.
Why Stord
● Real ownership, early - you'll be working on products with active users and business consequences, not internal tools or throwaway prototypes

operations in a way that builds the full-stack product instincts most programs take years to develop
● AI-forward culture - we use AI tools as a genuine part of how we work, and we'll expect you to do the same
● The right moment - Stord is at a stage where the roadmap isn't locked, the architecture isn't set in stone, and good ideas from anyone get heard
