The Head of Program Management (PMO) drives disciplined execution of the company’s most critical, cross-functional initiatives within a 3PL and fulfillment network environment. This role ensures that strategic initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and operationally ready, coordinating across operations, technology, engineering, commercial, and finance teams.The PMO exists to accelerate delivery and elevate execution quality, not to create unnecessary process. Success in this role is measured by clarity, accountability, speed, and tangible business impact.
What You'll Do:
Program Execution in a 3PL Environment
Lead complex, multi-site, cross-functional initiatives impacting fulfillment centers, transportation networks, and customer operations.
Translate Network Innovation priorities into executable programs with clear scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics.
Ensure initiatives are operationally viable in live 3PL environments, balancing speed, service commitments, and cost discipline.
PMO Operating Model & Governance
Build and manage a scalable PMO model tailored to a 3PL network.
Establish program intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and ROI validation.
Implement governance and escalation paths aligned with operational readiness and customer impact.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Readiness
Drive alignment across Operations, Engineering, Product, IT, Finance, and Commercial teams.
Ensure site readiness, labor impacts, systems dependencies, training, and change management are addressed.
Coordinate launches to prevent service disruptions.
Metrics, Reporting & Financial Accountability
Define and own program KPIs tied to cost-to-serve, throughput, service levels, utilization, and margin impact.
Provide concise, data-driven executive updates.
Track benefits realization post-implementation.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify risks and interdependencies.
Drive mitigation plans with clear options and trade-offs.
Escalate issues early with actionable recommendations.
PMO Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing team of program managers.
Set standards for planning, documentation, and delivery discipline.
Develop talent to partner credibly with site and executive leaders.
Partnership with VP, Network Innovation
Serve as the primary execution partner to the VP of Network Innovation.
Provide visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs.
Challenge sequencing and resourcing decisions to protect delivery quality.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related roles.
Proven success leading large, cross-functional initiatives in 3PL or fulfillment environments.
Strong understanding of operational, SLA, and financial impacts.
Experience operating PMO governance models.
Exceptional executive communication skills.

Experience in multi-site fulfillment or transportation networks.
Background in operational transformation or network optimization.
Experience in high-growth or private-equity-backed environments.
MBA or equivalent experience.
