About the Team:

As an experienced Business Analyst in the FIS SFTC team, you’ll be working on projects for international clients and supporting agile teams to develop a world class platform for securities finance trading, inventory optimization and cross-product collateral management.

Our stack is based on Java and Angular web-based applications.

What you will be doing:

• Proactively and collaboratively working with key stakeholders including development team, business leaders, customers, to drive and deliver your portion of the project.

• Gather requirements quickly and effectively, prioritizing across multiple projects.

• Clearly represent the functional design requirements and solution to stakeholders.

• User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well-understood by the development team.

• Sprint Planning & Review: Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, ensuring the team delivers high-quality increments.

• Develop appropriate solutions within our SFTC product.

• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders.

• Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to other team members within areas of expertise.

• Grow your skillset in close association with your teammates and other industry specialists from our wider organization.

• Assist in documenting product and release notes.

What you bring:

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst in a commercial software environment.

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development cycles.

• Proficiency in defining and implementing an overall solution.

• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are advantageous.

• Dynamic and flexible. Respond well to changing priorities from different sources.

• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a plus.

Added bonus if you have:

• Securities Finance Trading and Collateral lifecycle knowledge.

• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, APIs.
