Photon gives patients ownership of prescriptions. Our platform enables clinicians to send prescriptions to patients via text, which saves them time by allowing their patients to shop between pharmacies. The vision is to help consumers save money by increasing transparency.
💡 Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a versatile, customer-focused operator to own post-sale relationships with Photon’s enterprise healthcare customers—ensuring fast, effective implementations and long-term success.
This is Photon’s first dedicated partner success hire. You’ll help build the structure, systems, and culture that define how we manage, measure, and grow customer relationships—from onboarding through renewal. You’ll act as the connective tissue between customers and our internal teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
📋 Core Responsibilities
  • Own the customer relationship post-sale, serving as the primary contact from onboarding through renewal and expansion
  • Drive successful implementations in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Operations—removing blockers and optimizing time-to-live
  • Establish structured meeting cadences, reporting, and success metrics tailored to each enterprise customer’s goals
  • Partner closely with Sales and Tech to ensure pilot success and smooth handoffs across the customer lifecycle
  • Build and refine Photon’s early customer success playbooks, including SLAs, escalation paths, and account management best practices
  • Implement tooling and processes to triage inbound requests, manage prioritization, and track SLA adherence
  • Identify and monitor key account metrics that signal adoption, value, and risk
  • Collaborate with BizOps and Finance to measure ROI per account and develop strategies to maximize account value
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally—bringing structured feedback to inform roadmap, improve workflows, and enhance user experience
  • Create clarity and structure in a dynamic environment, setting foundations for a scalable, customer-centric culture
🎯 Required Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years in a customer-facing role (Customer Success, Account Management, or Implementations) with enterprise healthcare clients—ideally health systems or digital health platforms
  • Experience at early or growth-stage startups where you’ve worn multiple hats and built new processes from scratch
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and data (EHR integrations familiarity a plus)
  • Technically fluent and operationally disciplined—you can translate between clinical, technical, and business teams
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder; equally comfortable running executive check-ins or troubleshooting with product and engineering
  • Highly organized, analytical, and proactive—you thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Based in the NYC area; comfortable working 3 days a week in-office with the Photon team
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing enterprise healthcare implementations involving multiple technical integrations
  • Familiarity with success metrics and frameworks for enterprise SaaS (e.g., adoption, retention, expansion KPIs)
  • Prior experience establishing a Customer Success function or playbook from the ground up
  • Comfort with SQL, CRM tooling, or data visualization platforms to track and report customer outcomes

Pay Transparency
The estimated starting annual base salary range for this position is $165,000 to $205,000 USD. The listed range is a guideline from Carta, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, and market data. Total compensation for this position also includes generous equity and employee benefits. Given Photon Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package.
