Summary
As we scale, we’re looking for a highly skilled and strategic Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend your financial expertise with product evolution and strategy, contributing to our growth and innovation as a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee invoicing, collections, and client account reconciliation.
- Cashflow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flows, ensuring the business meets its financial commitments.
- Strategic Finance: Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, financial planning, and strategy. Provide insights for decision-making and resource allocation.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to incorporate financial insights into product development, pricing strategies, and operational improvements.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Manage external audits and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 4+ years experience at a Big Four accounting firm (PwC, KPMG, EY, Deloitte).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

- Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Full time offers from Office Hours also include target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay range: $100,000 – $130,000, based on seniority and relevant experience
This is a hybrid role, in our San Francisco or New York City office 2-3 times per week.
