About the Role

We are looking for a senior recruiter to own and execute Nelo’s recruiting strategy across Mexico and the U.S. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will directly source, engage, and close world-class talent across engineering, data science, risk, and commercial functions.

You will report directly to the CTO, and collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across all functions and levels, from sourcing to closing.

  • Partner with executives to define role requirements, assess candidates, and guide hiring decisions.

  • Proactively source passive candidates and build robust talent pipelines for critical hires.

  • Develop and implement scalable recruiting processes that optimize for speed, quality, and candidate experience.

  • Act as a trusted ambassador of Nelo’s culture and mission in every candidate interaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with proven success in high-growth technology companies.

  • Track record of sourcing and closing top technical, product, and business talent.

  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and funnel optimization.

  • Excellent communicator who can build trust with candidates and executives alike.

  • Hands-on, scrappy, and execution-oriented — thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment.

  • English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
