Join our mission
We're proud to work with many incredible companies, accelerating their ability to build their products.
We've spent years watching talented engineering teams lose momentum to the same frustrating bottleneck: waiting. Waiting for CI to finish. Waiting for builds to complete. Waiting for tests to run.
After experiencing this pain firsthand at companies of every size, we set out to build the developer infrastructure platform we'd always wanted to use. Something that would seamlessly integrate with our workflows and the tools teams already love—but make everything dramatically faster and more cost-effective.
Today, we're already accelerating hundreds of companies around the world, helping them ship features instead of waiting for infrastructure. We've built something that feels almost magical in its simplicity: change your runs-on line, mount your toolchain cache directory and suddenly your builds are 5x faster.
About the role
Namespace's approach is low-friction, designed for immediate integration into existing developer toolchains, empowering teams to experience tangible results within just five minutes. With an end-to-end stack optimized for high performance—including compute, memory, storage, and networking—Namespace delivers capabilities and efficiencies unmatched by traditional cloud providers.
Namespace provides high-performance, ephemeral compute environments across Linux, Windows, and macOS. Our macOS platform runs on native Apple Silicon (M2 Pro / M4 Pro) and is designed to power demanding developer workflows like Xcode builds, iOS CI, and graphics workloads.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of our macOS infrastructure. From provisioning and performance tuning to developer experience and reliability. You’ll work at the intersection of systems engineering, virtualization, and developer tooling to make macOS in the cloud feel fast, predictable, and delightful.
This is a high-impact role: macOS is a critical part of our platform, enabling teams to build and ship Apple ecosystem applications faster with fully isolated, fast-booting environments.
What you'll do:
Own the macOS platform end-to-end: Design, build, and operate our macOS compute offering across Apple Silicon hardware
Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of macOS instances
Improve performance of Xcode builds, caching layers and CI pipelines
Extend our APIs and platform primitives to better support macOS-specific workflows
Improve observability and debugging
Interface with storage, networking, and compute layers to deliver a seamless experience
Explore new approaches to virtualization, isolation, and remote execution on macOS
Stay current with Apple ecosystem changes and adapt the platform accordingly
Work directly with customers running iOS/macOS CI to understand pain points
Translate real-world workflows into platform improvements
You can expect:
Competitive salary and stock options
Flexible working hours
Market-leading parental leave
