Virtual Care Veterinary Technician - Teletriage (Relief)

We believe in bringing humanity back to veterinary medicine, and we’re looking for a passionate, compassionate, highly organized and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technician (referred to internally as Veterinary Nurse) to join our team on an as-needed Relief basis.
Available Schedules:
- Flexible, relief-based schedule. Work virtually when coverage is needed and when your availability allows. Perfect for those looking to pick up extra shifts or maintain a flexible work-life balance.
Ideal Candidate: This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can jump in to provide seamless support for our team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re adaptable, communicative, and ready to jump in when needed- often within 48-72 hours’ notice.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Engage with members via chat, phone, and video, providing support and education on their pets’ health and well-being
- Triage medical cases based on veterinary knowledge, offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
- Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
- Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
- Verify and process prescriptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests
- Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth, whether over chat, phone, or video
- Follow protocols, maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
- Collaborate cross-functionally, providing feedback to improve processes and systems

- Comfortable sitting and standing at a computer for extended periods
