About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a critical role in building the teams that power Medallion’s growth. You’ll own pipeline generation for high-priority roles, manage end-to-end recruiting for select positions, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to close. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, develop hiring plans, and strategically attract and close top talent. At this stage in your career, you’ve mastered the recruiting fundamentals and operate with growing autonomy - proactively identifying challenges, sharing insights, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Medallion’s recruiting process.

This role reports to the Talent Lead and base compensation may land between $85,000 - $110,000 depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to base salary, Medallion offers equity, bonus, and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Many factors are considered when determining pay including: market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.

Responsibilities:

Communication

    • Effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers, providing timely and transparent updates.
    • Actively participate in team discussions, sharing insights and best practices.
    • Begin delivering constructive feedback to candidates post-interview.
    • Support hiring managers in creating and executing structured hiring plans.
    • Seek mentorship and feedback to continuously improve communication and stakeholder management skills.

Impact

    • Own full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, demonstrating independence and consistency.
    • Collaborate with hiring partners to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
    • Contribute ideas to enhance recruiting processes, tools, and the overall candidate experience.
    • Actively participate in employer branding and talent marketing initiatives.
    • Work cross-functionally to achieve collective hiring goals and maintain alignment with broader business priorities.

Execution

    • Build and maintain high-quality pipelines for P0 and high-priority roles.
    • Ensure all hiring plans and interview loops are aligned before extending offers.
    • Track and manage assigned roles to ensure quarterly hiring goals are achieved.
    • Identify blockers and work with your manager or mentor to troubleshoot and remove obstacles quickly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience delivering results on an inhouse team, preferably in high growth start up environments
  • Proven ability to source, attract, and close top talent across multiple functions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Passionate about building exceptional teams and delivering an outstanding candidate experience
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Solid understanding of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing strategies, and modern recruiting tools
  • A data-oriented approach to recruitment, with the ability to analyze and leverage data to improve talent processes
