About the role

• At the highest level, the core mission of the Technical Writer is to create and maintain well-structured, detailed, comprehensive, authoritative documentation of our product and operational processes.

• Compensation for this role is between $35 - $50 an hour.

What you'll do

• Document products, features, APIs, and operational processes by collaborating with PMs, engineers, and operations professionals to collect product behavior and translate into concise documentation.

• Create diagrams, flow charts, and screenshots as needed to provide clarity in documentation

• Organize documentation and make it easily discoverable for internal and external audience

• Maintain and update the information architecture of documentation repositories

• Identify and flag gaps in documentation and maintain a prioritized backlog of documentation tasks

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Technical Writing experience at an enterprise software company

• Can provide two samples of prior technical documentation you have written

• Familiar with Confluence
