Job Title: Talent Partner
Location: San Francisco, CA – In-person 4 days per week
Team: People
Reports To: CEO

About Us

Marble is transforming a $500B+ industry that’s long overdue for disruption. We’re building an AI-powered tax assistant and preparation platform that uses the latest breakthroughs in LLMs to completely rethink how accounting firms handle tax.

Our product suite targets the pain points of mid-to-large accounting firms, automating complex, high-stakes workflows and helping professionals focus on strategy instead of paperwork. Our leadership team has built multi-million dollar companies in the past and comes to the industry with existing relationships with large accounting firms.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Talent Partner (Recruiter) to help build the team that will define our company’s future. This role is not just about filling roles; it’s about shaping the talent foundation of a company scaling with ambition and intention.

Based in San Francisco, you will equally support hiring across all current offices (San Francisco and Toronto), while partnering closely with leadership to attract exceptional people who align with both our performance bar and our values.

This is an opportunity for someone who believes recruiting is one of the highest-leverage functions in a company. Someone who understands that every hire influences culture, velocity, and long-term trajectory and who wants to take ownership of that responsibility.

What You’ll Do

Build the Team That Builds the Company

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across all offices

  • Partner with leaders to define what “great” looks like before a role is even opened

  • Translate business priorities into thoughtful, forward-looking hiring plans

  • Actively shape candidate profiles to ensure we hire for both excellence and alignment

Elevate the Hiring Bar

  • Design structured, intentional interview processes

  • Train and support hiring managers to assess talent effectively and fairly

  • Champion a rigorous yet human centric candidate experience

  • Ensure consistency and quality across all offices

  • Use data to continuously improve hiring quality, speed, and outcomes

Represent Our Mission in the Market

  • Serve as a trusted ambassador in both the Bay Area and Toronto talent markets

  • Clearly articulate our vision, standards, and opportunity to candidates

  • Build long-term relationships with high-potential talent

  • Develop proactive pipelines for priority roles across regions

Build for Scale

  • Document and refine recruiting processes to support growth

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring forecasts

  • Help lay the foundation for a strong, sustainable North American talent strategy

  • Occasionally support broader People Operations initiatives that enhance employee engagement and cultivate a high performance culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (mix of in-house and agency), ideally in high-growth environments

  • Experience hiring across multiple regions; familiarity with both US and Canadian markets is a strong asset

  • Strong judgment and high standards in candidate assessment

  • Comfort partnering with founders and senior leaders

  • Ability to operate independently and build process from scratch

Why Join Us

  • High-leverage role shaping the future of the company

  • Direct partnership with leadership

  • Ownership across company hiring

  • Opportunity to build recruiting infrastructure early

  • A company that values ambition, transparency, and long-term thinking
