The Role

We are seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our Centralised Design tribe. Research plays a pivotal role in how we connect with our customers and build the right products for their needs. As a senior member of a cross-functional and multidisciplinary squad, you will lead and shape the customer strategy, informing our product roadmap and ensuring we deliver exceptional user experiences.

You will not only engage with but also advance and innovate in a range of research techniques, from quantitative statistical analysis to qualitative user interviews. As a senior researcher, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing research strategies, providing guidance to the broader Design Organisation and collaborators in Product and Engineering, and fostering a customer-centric culture throughout Lyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive innovative research strategies that inform product development and feature prioritization
  • Lead and manage the research roadmap, aligning it with business goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Design to evolve and implement research and customer principles at Lyst
  • Serve as the authoritative voice of the customer, influencing key decisions across the organization
  • Provide guidance and mentorship on research methodologies to members of the Design Organisation, Product teams, and Engineering teams
  • Establish and maintain research best practices, ensuring high-quality outputs across all projects
  • Translate complex research findings into actionable insights for various stakeholders
  • Contribute to the broader UX community through thought leadership and knowledge sharing
