Business Operations & Growth Associate

In-Person – Toronto, ON

About LifestyleRx

LifestyleRx is a fast-growing virtual lifestyle medicine clinic combining physicians, group medical visits, nutrition coaching, and technology to help patients reverse and prevent chronic disease.

We operate at the intersection of healthcare and technology — and we’re still early. That means small team, fast decisions, high ownership, and real impact.

We’re hiring a Business Operations & Growth Associate to work directly with leadership to help scale operations and unlock our next stage of growth.

The Role

You will work across operations, physician experience, growth initiatives, and special projects.

Some weeks you may be improving physician scheduling workflows.

Other weeks you may be launching a new operational process, analyzing metrics, helping improve onboarding, or solving a bottleneck that’s slowing the company down.

You’ll work closely with leadership and gain exposure to how a healthcare startup is actually built.

This role is in-person in Toronto. We believe early-career operators learn faster by being embedded in the team.

What You’ll Work On

This role will evolve, but initial responsibilities may include:

Operations

• Improve and manage physician scheduling, coverage, and capacity planning

• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement better systems

• Coordinate cross-functional operational initiatives

• Own small operational projects end-to-end

Physician & Internal Support

• Act as a reliable internal point of contact for operational questions

• Improve physician onboarding and support processes

• Troubleshoot system or workflow issues and escalate when necessary

Growth & Optimization

• Track and analyze key operational and growth metrics

• Support initiatives that improve retention, engagement, or provider experience

• Assist with experiments related to marketing, operations, or new services

Special Projects

• Work on the highest-priority problems in the company each week

• Take ownership of projects that don’t clearly “belong” to anyone else

Who You Are

• Early in your career (0–3 years experience)

• Highly organized and structured

• Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out

• Strong communicator (clear, calm, concise)

• Naturally proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to fix

• Tech-comfortable (Google Workspace, Slack, basic systems)

• Excited by startups and growth environments

Growth Path

This role is designed as a launchpad.

As the company grows, this position can evolve based on your strengths and interests into:

• Operations Lead

• Product Operations

• Growth / Marketing

• Business Development

• Chief of Staff–type responsibilities

We expect the right candidate to specialize over time — but initially, you’ll gain broad exposure across the business.

What We Offer

• In-person role based in Toronto

• Competitive compensation ($70-80K/year)

• Benefits package

• 3 weeks vacation

• Direct exposure to startup leadership

• A front-row seat to scaling a healthcare startup
