LifestyleRx is a virtual lifestyle medicine clinic that combines medical expertise with a team-based approach, including one-to-one and group medical visits, nutritional coaching, education, and digital tracking. We are looking for a Operations Coordinator for our Care Team Operations group to support our clinical team and ensure smooth day-to-day physician operations.

This role works closely with physicians and internal teams to manage schedules, coverage, and basic technical support, helping ensure a consistent and positive experience for both doctors and patients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate physician coverage during vacations, leaves, and unexpected absences to ensure continuity of patient care.

  • Adjust physician hours and schedules based on availability, capacity, and operational needs.

  • Serve as a point of contact for physicians regarding scheduling changes, availability updates, and coverage planning.

  • Provide basic technical support for physicians, including assistance with Zoom, hardware setup, and troubleshooting common issues.

  • Support physicians with basic EMR-related questions and workflows (e.g., access issues, navigation, and common tasks).

  • Liaise with internal teams to communicate schedule updates and ensure accurate calendar and system setup.

  • Help identify recurring operational or technical issues and suggest improvements to workflows and processes.

  • Other ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as required.

You are a person who:

  • Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and discretion when supporting physicians, especially during stressful or personal circumstances.

  • Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without becoming overwhelmed.

  • Is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple schedules, priorities, and requests.

  • Communicates clearly and calmly, both written and verbally.

  • Is proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Adapts well to change and can pivot quickly when priorities shift.

  • Enjoys supporting others and helping systems run more smoothly.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong computer proficiency and comfort learning new software and systems.

  • Experience in healthcare operations, scheduling, or clinical support is an asset but not required.

  • Experience providing basic technical support or troubleshooting is an asset.

  • Physically located in British Columbia is preferred for this role for time coverage purposes but is not strictly required
