About General Legal

General Legal is an AI-native law firm redefining how legal services are delivered. We move fast, care deeply about the work, and have built a team of genuinely kind, high-caliber people. This is a place where your contributions are noticed and your growth is taken seriously.

About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO (roughly 75% of your time) and our CTO and CPO (the remaining 25%). This is a high-trust, high-visibility role where you will be close to the center of the company and have a real impact on how our leadership team operates day to day. You do not need a decade of experience. You do need to have done something like this before, care a lot about getting the details right, and genuinely enjoy making other people more effective.

What You’ll Do

Manage complex, ever-shifting calendars, including scheduling meetings, protecting focus time, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

Handle travel coordination including flights, hotels, and itineraries

Draft and proofread correspondence, meeting prep materials, and internal communications

Take notes in key meetings and track follow-ups and action items

Manage email triage and inbox prioritization on behalf of the CEO when needed

Handle ad hoc research, logistics, and special projects as they come up

Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal teams and external partners reaching out to leadership

What We’re Looking For

Some prior experience in an EA, administrative, or executive support role

Remarkably organized: you track details, stay ahead of things, and do not need to be reminded twice

Clear, professional communicator in writing, on calls, and in all the in-between moments

A natural problem solver who figures things out rather than waiting to be told what to do

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to stay calm when priorities shift

Discreet and trustworthy with access to sensitive information

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $70,000 to $90,000, calibrated to experience

Health, dental, vision; unlimited PTO; home office stipend
