About Dimensional
Dimensional is building the foundation for physical intelligence in general-purpose robotics. We develop a unified framework that enables robots to perceive, reason, learn, and act across diverse real-world environments and embodiments. Dimensional’s mission is to make physical intelligence programmable, scalable, and accessible -- accelerating the development of generalist robots that can adapt, learn, and perform reliably in the real world.
Our platform sits between robot hardware and AI models, providing a modular, composable architecture for training and deploying robotic intelligence at scale. By abstracting hardware differences and standardizing core capabilities—such as perception, spatial understanding, decision-making, and control—Dimensional allows developers and partners to build, transfer, and operate robotic skills efficiently across platforms.
About the role
Dimensional has 2,000+ developers on Discord, 1,000+ on our waitlist, and we are launching a hardware residency program for teams building on our platform. Someone needs to turn these numbers into a real community — and plan the events that bring them together.
You'll own developer community, events, and partnerships. This means running our Discord, planning hackathons and Demo Days, managing the Residency program logistics, coordinating with deployment partners, and making sure developers who show up actually stick around.
What you'll do
Plan and execute events: hackathons, Demo Days, office warmings, partner meetups, conference booths
Run logistics for the Dimensional Residency program: onboarding, weekly programming, etc.
Build relationships with developer communities, university robotics labs, and ecosystem partners
Create community content: weekly digests, contributor spotlights, event recaps
Track community health metrics: active members, retention, contribution rates, event attendance
What we're looking for
2-4 years of experience in community management, developer relations, or event planning — ideally at a developer-focused company
Have planned and executed events for 50+ people — not just attended them
Genuinely enjoy talking to developers and understanding what they need
Strong project management skills — events have hard deadlines and lots of moving parts
Good taste — our brand is minimal, technical, and intentional.
Bonus: experience with robotics, open-source, or hardware communities
Bonus: Mandarin fluency (we have a growing Chinese developer community)
