Qodo Gen is an AI-powered coding assistant and mentor that helps developers write, understand, test, and review code with their team. Through advanced tools for code generation, test workflows, and AI chat, we ensure developers produce high-quality code that functions as intended, with fewer bugs.

We're looking for a creative and innovative Senior Product Designer to join our team at Qodo Gen, where you'll shape how developers interact with our AI-powered development tools. You'll be instrumental in creating intuitive onboarding experiences, designing features that drive engagement, and crafting interfaces that make complex AI capabilities accessible and delightful to use.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process for key activation features, from initial concept through prototyping, testing, and implementation
• Design intuitive onboarding flows and first-time user experiences that demonstrate immediate value
• Create engaging and efficient interfaces for AI-assisted coding features, IDE integrations, and developer workflows
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to identify user behavior patterns and design solutions that drive adoption
• Lead user research initiatives to deeply understand developer needs and validate design solutions
• Contribute to our design system and establish patterns for AI-human interaction in development tools
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product design experience, with demonstrated work on developer tools, IDE extensions, or similar technical products
• Technical background or hands-on development experience that allows you to empathize with developer workflows and challenges
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
• Experience with data-driven design decisions and working with analytics tools like Mixpanel
• Proven ability to design complex features while maintaining simplicity and intuitiveness
• Growth mindset with enthusiasm for rapid iteration and learning from user feedback
• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
