About Cluely

Cluely is first true desktop copilot: an always-on, real time, invisible AI assistant that can proactively offer help and complete work. Cluely is looking for strong mobile engineers to help us take the mobile app from 0 → 1.

Our company mission is AI maximalism: everywhere AI can be used, it should be used. Some will view it as cheating, but you will be contributing to a world where humans never have to think alone again.

Users are using us for assistance on sales calls, for help coaching clients, and advice when navigating complicated enterprise software environments. Since launching at the end of April, we have:

• Achieved strong product-market fit in both consumer and enterprise settings: we crossed >7M in ARR among consumers and enterprise deals and have 250,000+ users.

• Assembled one of the strongest growth and marketing distribution channels in recent memory: we are able to consistently get hundreds of millions of views through Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Raised a $15M series A from a16z, who are investors in Cursor and Wiz - previously two of the fastest companies to hit 100m in ARR.

Our engineering team is a mix of young, ambitious builders and seasoned senior engineers. We move fast, learn from each other, and everyone’s voice matters.

About the Role

Our vision is to create the ultimate assistant that goes beyond chat, proactively predicting intent and surfacing information before you need it. We aim to make Cluely the default way people reach for AI help and are looking for someone to go 0 → 1 on bringing it to mobile.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build our mobile app from the ground up using React Native

• Own the full mobile product lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration

• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup time across iOS and Android

• Implement seamless API integrations between our AI backend and mobile frontend

• Design and build robust update mechanisms and deployment pipelines for mobile

• Create performant, beautiful, and intuitive mobile experiences

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Experience with React Native OR building native iOS/Android apps in Swift/Kotlin

• Experience with mobile CI/CD, app store deployment, and mobile analytics

• 1–3+ years at a fast-paced startup or shipping mobile products end-to-end

Strong candidates may also have:

• Previous experience as a founder or taking a product 0 → 1

• Prior work on AI, multimodal, or mobile products

• Deep experience in audio, visual, or multichannel engineering

Compensation:

• Founding mobile engineers get paid a minimum base salary of $300,000. The pay range goes up to $1,000,000 a year base if you are truly exceptional. This is in addition to generous equity.
