We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to lead and guide our growing data team. This is a strategic role where you will design scalable data infrastructure, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape our data strategy and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.

• Architect and implement robust data solutions to meet business needs and ensure high performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to define and execute the data strategy.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met across all data operations.

• Guide and mentor data engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, resolving complex technical challenges.

• Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL for building data pipelines and performing data analysis.

• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake).

• Deep knowledge of cloud services such as AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue) and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

• Experience in architecting data solutions and optimizing large-scale data workflows.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security best practices, and version control systems (Git).

• Proven leadership skills, including guiding and mentoring technical teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong written and spoken English skills.
