Position Overview
Cherry is seeking an experienced Payment Operations Specialist who provides great customer experience, strong attention to detail and has a proven track-record of delivering results. The position will be carefully chosen to bring in a person who is passionate about being a part of a small but hard-working team in the beginning, with a major focus on building and improving our team and company as a whole.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for uploading check payments to patient contracts
  • Monitor account overpayments and issue ACH or check refunds to the associate patients
  • Respond to payment disputes and chargebacks daily by providing necessary evidence in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve consumer credit bureau disputes by reviewing both internal account records and credit bureau records via e-Oscar
  • Manage incoming Practice Disputes and follow up on inquiries
  • Process Practice Refund Requests.
  • Process credit and debit payments.
  • Process reattempts for failed practice refunds.
  • Identify and track customer’s concerns to ensure transparency and minimize risk to the company..
  • Manage and respond to patient contract disputes in a timely manner.
  • Review current strategies and provide feedback on how to improve the department and Cherry as a whole.

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of experience of being a top-10% or greater performer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with point of sale lending or financial products desired.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and de-escalate situations across omni-channel communication inquiries
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, organize and pay strict attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and pride in performance.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, ever changing environment with a team first mentality.
  • College Degree desired. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Intermediate level skills in working with Excel/Google Sheets also preferred.
  • Flexibility with schedule is preferred including evenings, weekends and holidays.
