Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Product Marketer to help define and communicate the value of Checkmate to millions of users and brand partners. As part of our marketing and growth team, you will bridge the gap between product and audience — leading go-to-market strategies, developing positioning and messaging, and crafting campaigns that drive adoption and engagement. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and growth teams to bring new features to market and strengthen Checkmate’s brand presence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.
Craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that resonate with users and partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, growth, partnerships) to ensure consistent communication and alignment across channels.
Analyze customer insights, usage data, and market trends to inform product strategy and messaging.
Create marketing assets such as landing pages, email campaigns, app store content, and sales enablement materials.
Partner with growth and performance teams to optimize acquisition and retention campaigns.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to iterate and improve.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or a related role in consumer tech or eCommerce.
Proven success in developing and launching go-to-market campaigns that drive measurable results.
Strong understanding of user segmentation, messaging, and positioning frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, etc.).
Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience marketing a consumer app or eCommerce platform.
Familiarity with influencer, affiliate, or creator marketing ecosystems.
Understanding of adtech, loyalty programs, and consumer engagement strategies.
Experience running product or feature launches from zero to scale.
