We’ve expanded our consumer reach beyond our fast-growing app (2M+ shoppers) to a broader network of 100M+ high-intent U.S. consumers. Our platform uses AI to de-anonymize site traffic, uncover missed conversion opportunities, and launch high-performance campaigns that engage shoppers who are ready to buy.Checkmate offers three core products for brands:
Enrichment: Reveal and resolve anonymous visitors to fuel smarter lifecycle flows.
Targeting: Deliver single-use offers through high-converting surfaces like our app, extension, email, and SMS.

Checkmate events go beyond typical happy hours. We create a cohesive community between tech , e-commerce brands, and marketers. You can see some of our events here. Think dinners, work-out classes, seminars, panels, podcasts, and interviews. Our events echo the voice of our company.
You’ll work on high impact community building events with a world-class marketing team, talking to senior leaders of industry, marketing gurus, and influencers. We’ve made great headway on community building but would love your help with fresh new ideas. If the e-commerce space excites you (seriously - you’re obsessed about brands), you’re savvy with vendors (you know the best restaurants), have strong ideas on up-leveling events by creating engaging experiences (you can host seminars like no one else) - then you’re probably a fit for this role.
Who we’re looking for?
Hands-on and can build a network of vendors, use data to decide what events work well and are high converting and which ones are duds.
Marketing and sales-savvy - be able to create strong theses based loose stats such as impressions, leads lists, attendance and engagement, often dictating KPIs
Creative - not only can you work off an existing playbook of events but you can also build your own playbook. You’re not afraid to push boundaries and take ownership.
Savvy - you know trends very well. You’re “up with the times” . Familiarity with Reddit, Sprout Social, Instagram, Tiktok - all these platforms are not foreign to you.
Charismatic - yes, you’re hosting events. We’re going to presume you can spark conversations, talk fluidly with others, and not be afraid to get up on stage and speak
Roles & Responsibilities
Have done events before (3-5 years), preferably in a corporate setting (tech, e-commerce, etc). e.g. event planning + budgeting skills
Based out of Los Angeles or New York City
