Every housing and infrastructure project in America is slowed down by stacks of paperwork, manual administrative tasks, and poor financial tracking. Beam builds the software and financial tools to automate these tedious parts of construction.

Our platform helps construction businesses incorporate fintech and AI into their workflows, from project estimating to bill payments to expense management—driving massive efficiency gains, ultimately enabling more projects to get off the ground.

Beam is backed by Accel, Zigg, Susa, and other top venture investors. Our team is in-person in a beautiful office in the Financial District of San Francisco. Our team previously worked at Stripe, Pipe, Traba, Fieldwire, and more.

What you’ll do

Share Beam and technology's impact on construction with the world

As a founding marketing hire, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping how the world sees Beam. You’ll work across product, sales, and leadership to craft and share compelling narratives—about our mission, our customers, and the future we’re building.

You’ll own the strategy and the execution: building content roadmaps, launching campaigns, and growing our presence across web, social, and events. Whether it’s a landing page, a case study, or a brand moment—we’ll look to you to make it resonate.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who loves turning early momentum into lasting brand impact.

On any given day, you might

  • Evolve the Beam brand in partnership with design by bringing clarity, consistency, and creativity to every touchpoint

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, interest, and action

  • Shape our product narrative—craft messaging that resonates with builders

  • Lead product launches end-to-end, working closely with product and sales to create content that resonates with our customers

  • Build and own a content roadmap—from thought leadership and blog posts to web copy and case studies

  • Talk to real customers—turn their stories into compelling testimonials, videos, and spotlights

What you need

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing at a technology company or similar

  • Exceptional communication skills—you write clearly, speak with conviction, and know how to tailor a message to its audience.

  • A scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit—you’re energized by ambiguity and excited to build from zero to one.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment—especially Series A/B or zero-to-one stages.

  • Interest in (or curiosity about) the construction industry and SMBs—you don’t need to be an expert, just excited to learn.

  • An eye for design—you don’t have to be a designer, but you appreciate good visuals and know what looks great.

Compensation Range: $120K - $150K
