Your role

We are currently seeking a hands-on and results-driven Account Executive - Mid Market to join our team to focus on acquiring new small to mid-size customers. Your role will be to lead sales processes end-to-end to drive customer acquisition and meet quota requirements. This position will play a critical role in Ascend’s growth by tangibly contributing to revenue in a fast growing segment. This role reports to Head of Sales.

Responsibilities will include

  • Acquire new customers to hit monthly, quarterly and annaul revenue targets and related KPI goals.
  • Work closely with other go to market teams (customer success, support, operations, etc) to ensure an effective and efficient onboarding of new customers.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering team to improve the product feedback based on customer learnings and needs.

You might be a good fit if you have

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in selling products into the commercial, mid-market segment. SaaS selling experience is a plus but not required.
  • Outcome-Oriented: A track record of consistently delivering measurable results and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Velocity-Minded: A mindset that values speed with focus, adaptability, and startup scrappiness
  • Customer Focused: Ability to deeply understand, relate to, and connect with our customer base. Insurance is a main-street America business where relationships matter.
  • Financial Services Background: Familiarity with financial services, especially in the context of insurance, is helpful.
